"To write more, write more." This is my writing notepad.

Inspired by T.S. Eliot’s famous “April is the cruelest month,” Maureen at NaPoWriMo.net asked which month we find the cruelest. I like the seasonal transitions.

November brings out the blues in me
As the days grow darker,
I shift shape,
brush off the day
and become one of the night people

I read deep poetry,
drown my melancholy
to the tones
of a mournful saxophone

and pray for a new spring
